Joey's birthday consisted of: throwing her a surprise birthday lunch at Shakey's which was organized by her sister, laughing at published wattpad stories with weird titles like 'My Chinito Boss', sitting on the floor of Fully Booked, eating doughnuts and leftover pizza from Shakey's at JCo, looking for possible birthday gifts for friends at Regina's, and, our favorite part, book shopping at Booksale. I was able to buy a hardbound copy of City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare for only 230 pesos. I bought it the second I saw the price!
Overall, it was a great day. It always is whenever I'm with my high school friends because we rarely see each other in a year. We blame college.
