HEY JOELLE

Prior to buying my camera, I already asked one of my close college friends, Joelle, if she could model for me and she gladly said she would. So yesterday, we met up and had a mini shoot. We were a bit pressed for time but, nonetheless, I was able to take beautiful shots.

I had to ask Joelle to walk back and forth, do a bunch of hair flips (which worked really well in some of the pictures above) and sit down in the middle of the road. Lucky that not many cars passed by while we shot there.

I cannot express the amount of gratitude that I have for Joelle for being the first person to model for me. (literally crying. lol kidding! but you get the idea)

Another thing that I want to talk about is how I had a hard time editing these pictures. In my previous photos, I only used Photoshop to add some coloring and brighten up my pictures. In this post, I decided to use Lightroom. I liked how the first three pictures came out (maybe because of the white background) but as for the rest, I had to edit them on Photoshop again. I had another one of those 'more curves??? more levels??? more eXPOSURE??' moments. Haha!

Also, I've been trying to do some polaroid/instax manips on Photoshop. Last Monday, my bestfriend celebrated her 18th birthday and I was able to take candid (but not really candid) photos and turned them into polaroids. I will upload them soon.
