PILILLA WIND FARM

Pililla Wind Farm, Rizal, 07/17/2016

My family and I spent one Sunday on a day trip to Rizal which is only one to two hours away from Manila. It's fairly new as its construction began in 2013. I heard it's smaller than the ones at Ilocos Norte but I have yet to see those for a better comparison.

CELESTE

It took a while for the medicine to sink in,
Blow out the fog and remove all the cobwebs
Now I'm clear; I can hear myself think straight

Les Enfants - Celeste

***

It rained the past few days, including today. Rainy days remind me of a certain silence that passes through walls and doors and just the beautiful frailty of the world outside. I am reminded of the stillness of things, like a black and white image, and also the fragility of those who pretend they are as strong as steel. I like it when it rains. It's quiet and comfortably cold and I think we all need that after two months of tolerating the summer heat.
